Sprout

Privacy policy

Last updated: 5 November 2026.

Sprout ("Sprout", "the app") is a study planner, focus timer and flashcard trainer. This policy explains what happens to your information in the iPhone app.

The short version

Everything you enter in Sprout stays on your iPhone. Sprout has no accounts, no ads, no analytics and no tracking, and it sends nothing to us or to anyone else.

What Sprout stores, on your device

This data lives in Sprout's private storage on your iPhone, shared only with its own widgets and share extension. Deleting the app deletes it. If you use iCloud Backup, your iPhone backup includes this data; Apple handles that backup under your Apple Account settings. You can also export or import your own backup file from Settings; where that file goes is your choice.

Permissions

Sprout does not request your location, contacts, camera, microphone or photos.

Purchases

Sprout Pro is bought through the App Store. Apple handles your payment; Sprout only learns, on your device, which purchases your Apple Account owns, never your card or payment details. A subscription renews until you cancel it in Settings › Apple Account › Subscriptions.

Children

Sprout collects no personal information from anyone, including children. Because nothing leaves your iPhone, there is nothing to share or sell.

Third parties

None. Sprout contains no advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services. Apple may share anonymous crash and usage statistics with developers if you have allowed it in iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same address with a new date.
